Had to share...

 

I had to share this with you. This is really weird and I didn't think that having the dog tilted just a little when you do hip xrays would matter, but in this dog's it did! This dog (which is an Australian Shepherd by the way, lol) had the Xray on the left done at one Vet's office, and then the Xray on the right done at another Vet's office, these Xrays are two months apart (and the second one was done a week before she came into heat!).

Also...

The second image is an Xray of a six month old pup that was diagnosed with Unilateral HD. At two years old, this same dog certified as OFA Good...

I think it's all in the positioning and whether or not the dog is in a growth spurt or even a less active state... like winter.
