BaileyUPDATE from Bailey’s Family - 8/20/2014

Hi Linda and Steve,

I’ve included some additional photos to the ones I sent the other day. I just wanted to give you an update on Bailey. Ever since we picked her up from you, she has been the best little traveler. She has liked to climb up from my lap, to cuddle on my shoulder, however she’s getting a little more independent and enjoys sprawling out on the center console in our pickup, also. She has definitely been the BEST little puppy we’ve ever had. A good friend took one look at her and said “She is so cute, how are you going to discipline that thing?” She makes it easy, because she so wants to please, and is a quick learner, She had the potty-training figured out by about 3 ½ months old. She is 5 months old now and weighs 8.6 lbs. From the beginning, our Sheltie, Abby, has decided that Bailey is her puppy, and is constantly worried about her and cleaning her up. Everyone who knows Abby is very shocked, as Abby has been a very unsocial dog.

BaileyEverywhere we go everyone thinks she is SO cute, and wants to know what kind of dog she is. We’ve been told she looks like a little Teddy Bear, and like a stuffed animal they used to have. She loves everyone and all other dogs. One of her favorite things to do is to drape herself over our arm, or leg or her snuggle puppy. She also loves to lay with both of her back legs stretched out behind her. She did that at the Vet’s office, and her Vet said, “Oh she’s doing “Froggy Doggy”, which proves that she has very good hips.” That was good to hear. Now that she’s teething, she LOVES ice cubes! She grabs it and runs like it’s the best treat ever! She loves to chase the big dogs around the house, but is quick to settle down on the couch at night when we watch TV. She is not hyper or yappy like some small dogs, which is very refreshing. She has brought so much joy to our lives, I can’t image being without her.

Thanks again for such a wonderful little girl.
