Zoe and Rohan’s Comfort Retrievers (Golden Retriever X Boykin Spaniel Sire)

Zoe (photo left) is our beautiful Golden Retriever mom, and we bred her with our truly amazing Rohan (photo right), a Boykin Spaniel. Click HERE for more information about Comfort Retriever breeding program. Basically, a Comfort Retriever is a “downsized” Golden Retriever, and is 50% Golden Retriever and 50% Spaniel. The Spaniel can be Cocker Spaniel, Boykin Spaniel or Cavalier Spaniel. Different spaniels bring different “qualities and traits” to the resulting puppies!
The puppies will grow to be about 30 lbs. as adult dogs. These puppies were carefully bred to be a nice-sized “comfortable” family dog, with truly great dispositions! They will have good temperaments, be great companions and love to be trained and learn. The puppies combine the loving nature of both the Golden and the Boykin, coats that will be likely to shed less than a purebred Golden, and will have the high intelligence and playful nature of the Boykin Spaniels!
Puppy photo above is Male 2 and he is ready to go to his new home now. He is quiet, sweet natured, playful and eager to please. He has a lovely soft-curl coat for reduced shedding, a shorter nose and beautiful, light brown eyes.
These puppies are delighting their adoptive families with their congenial natures, quickness to learn and loving personalities. See the website on the Comfort Retriever section for details on reserving a puppy with us!
